![]() We’re fairly healthy people. I’m not saying we’re the healthiest, or that we never get sick, because we do get sick from time to time and there is always room for improvement in our diet. But all in all, compared to many, we’re fairly healthy. So understand that I come from a place of relative wellness when I say that our 2.5 households have been plagued by persistent, pernicious, recurrent, and seemingly interminable illness. Nothing like COVID and nothing extreme…and no one person ever seems to be sick when the other people are sick. (read more) ![]() So we’ve been stuck in this hobbled condition where at least one, maybe two, of any given household is sick, preventing the rest of the household from “living”, and this has been going on for almost 2 months. It’s been ridiculous. Colds, pink eye, sinus infections, stomach bugs, maybe strep (or something like it), maybe something else in there I didn’t know about or couldn’t identify. All I’m saying is, we’d better be done with illness for the rest of the year. It also means that our productivity as a company has also been hobbled. As much as we try and dedicate, at least, part-time hours to our projects and this company, the reality is that this isn’t our only gig. We work for non-profits and are stay-at-home moms and are in college classes, so when we get sick, as much as we hate it, Twilight Tabletop is the first to get dropped. The goal is to change that, to make it a priority, and we’re patient to work our way to that goal. Like, soon-soon. Like, maybe next week or so soon. I know you’ve heard this all before, and it’s just words, but when it becomes action, you’ll know!
