![]() The perpetual discomfort of winter sets in, I am freezing cold, and trying to ignore the frozen feeling in my toes. Like everyone else in the 3rd PP and TTRPG space, we were ensorcelled by the OGL business. (Read more.) The trust of the 3rd PP industry was shattered and our business directly affected. Early on, we had decided to stop making content for 5e and just focus on Pathfinder 2e and any other system we came across that we wanted to support with content. Now that the whole business seems concluded (for now), and the OGL is both intact and the SRD in the creative commons, along with the ORC in the works, we may continue to create content for 3.5e, PF1, and 5e, but we are also motivated to move beyond these systems and into new ones. Currently, we’re looking at Mystic Days, Kobold Press’s Black Flag project, and… Perhaps, a system of our own. One of our reclusive, hermit-crab family members emerged from his shell the other day to declare he has been working on dramatically retailoring (to the point of no longer being resembled with) an older edition of the Mistrunner system. We’re still in the seminal stages, though, so nothing more to mention on that front. Catalogue of Curious Creatures, Constructs, and Characters We’ve made great progress on the first of our monster Catalogues! Though we won’t quite make our end of January goal, we are just around the corner! The next week or so should see it out and available. After that, we dutifully attend to the second Catalogue. The Malcontent MansionIs waiting patiently for us to finish the catalogues so it can receive some TLC. It will be a one-shot dungeon meant to evoke a sinister “fun house” vibe.
